Ahhh, newborn baby clothes! From the moment all concerned find out there is going to be a new baby, looking at (and buying!) the tiny outfits in all shades of blue, pink, other colours and neutral is simply irresistible.

When we look at items that are not simply ‘all in ones’, i.e. to bring the fashion and beautiful styling into play even more (because our ‘all in ones’ are simply fabulous in the fashion stakes anyway), we have to look at how any decorative additions may affect baby. For example, if baby is lying down, will the accessories or decorative elements cause any concern? We look at how easy it is to put the newborn baby clothes on to the baby – ease for clothes changes and nappy or diaper change – is the neckline stretchy enough, or are poppers in place to help the situation.

Our newborn baby clothes are sized as follows – premature from 3 – 5 lbs (although we can offer ranges from as small as 1.5 lbs), newborn and then there are clothes sized at 1 month, 0 – 3 months, 3 months, 3 – 6 months and that’s about where the ‘newborn’ range stops, although our clothes, of course, continue up through the ages. Don’t go too mad on one size – remember babies grow quickly!
