SHIPPING  is based on the weight of the item.  As soon as you 'add to cart' your shipping cost estimator will appear. This updates everytime you add anything new to your cart.

(a) Information about shopping on this site, how to shop and after sales service 


You can shop in this store for childrenswear and other items in a number of ways. If you aren't sure what you want to buy, or you are just taking a look, then you can click the links on the Departments menu on the left side of the site, to browse the various categories. Click through the various levels to find exactly what you want.  We have offered various options to help you find childrens clothes for example by season, by age, by type of clothing example, clothing outfits, t shirts, dresses and so on.

If you know exactly what you are looking for, then you may find it easier to use the search facility to search through our catalogue and quickly select the product you want.  If you just click the search button without adding any text into the search box, an advanced search facility will appear which may be more helpful

More Information on the product you have chosen 
When you have found a product that you are interested in, more information can be found by clicking the Details button, or the product's picture. This will typically lead you to a longer description, larger picture(s) and size/colour options etc… If someone has written a review for a product, this will be included.

Buying Products and finding out the Shipping cost
When you are happy that you want to purchase an item from our store, simply 'add to cart' and your cart will appear along with a shipping cost estimator below it.  Select where the item is going to and the shipping will be adjusted accordingly. 

Registering and Logging In
It is easy to create your account.  If you have already created an account, log in by typing your email address and password in the box provided on the right side of every page. To register for the first time click the Create Account link in the Client Zone on the right side of the site. You can set up your personal or company account and select to receive newsletters which will give you access to specially selected offers.  Or you can log in or create your account when you wish to checkout with items.  This process has been made to be as quick as possible.  Do let us know if you don't like it.

Account Holders Registered Users
You have a few more options available in your account area. You can view or amend your account details, change entries in your address book, change your account password, subscribe or unsubscribe to newsletters and view or change your product notification list.

Shopping Cart
In your shopping cart, you will see a list of all the products you have chosen to purchase along with your shipping cost estimator. If there are any items that are incorrect in your cart, then now is the time to change them by simply clicking to remove. You must then select your shipping destination and service, checking you are happy with the compensation levels available, or not depending on product type. Once you have all the correct details selected, you can checkout.

Checkout
In the checkout, your details should be mostly filled in for you and you can choose addresses from your address book. We use the 'Mastercard SecureCode' and 'Verified by Visa' schemes and the payment process will require you to complete your pin identification with your bank prior to completing checkout. The requirement to set up a pin number is set by your bank and this facility has been introduced to protect you further during your on-line shopping experience.

Order Confirmation
When you have completed checkout, you will receive a confirmation of your order on your screen, and in your email inbox. Please print a copy of at least one of these or ensure you save it, safely.  Please add our email address to your favourites so that our update emails or newsletters do not end up in spam or junk filters.

After Order Service

Contact us at any time noting we deal with enquiries by email as quickly as possible.  You may also contact us at the numbers given in the Contact Us page at the top of the site and we have provided a mobile telephone number too, should your enquiry be more urgent.  We work quickly to resolve queries and any problems you may have.  We ship items as quickly as possible and comprehensive details are given in our terms and conditions, accepted by you at the time of order.  If you have any suggestions about the useability of the site or anthing to do with the site, we welcome your opinions and would like to hear from you.

Generally, from assessment of our garments, most of the sizing tends to be generous. So for example, a 2 year’s outfit should be suitable from 2 years to 3 years, if your child is of an average build. Most of the age 5 items are suitable for 5 and 6 year old children. French clothing tends to be smaller.
We have added some size charts here but wherever possible we include sizes for individual garments and shoes, provided by the actual supplier for that garment or based on measurements that we have taken.

IMPORTANT SIZING HELP SERVICE FOR YOU
Rather than have you order something that may not fit we are happy to run a tape measure over the garment of your choice and email you back with its measurements if that would be helpful. Or you can request measurements when you place your online order by using the notes box available when you check out your order. We do not take payment until items are ready for despatch in any event and we can deal with any sizing issues in the meantime. Alternatively, please do call us for details using the numbers shown on the contact us page at the top of the site.

(c) Information about Exclusive Samples – What are they?

Companies who manufacturer the designer collections we stock start to guage interest in their designs the season before they make them. To be able to take orders they have a limited number of samples of each design made. Often, the sample is made in the smallest size available and in one colour way. The samples are shown to us. We choose the children’s designer clothing that we like from these and make our order. We sometimes purchase a range of samples from those design houses that take extremely good care of the clothes and we sell them at a very good discount, which considers the fact that they have been shown to retailers. Please note this fact. If the samples are more soiled than we would usually expect, we provide details of any fault and offer a greater discount. Samples are a fantastic way of getting fantastic designer children’s clothes at a reduced price, often well before the season for which they are intended.  Samples are specifically identified on this site so you know you are buying one.

(d) Information about Care of Garments

Please study the wash care label of your garment carefully. If the instruction states you should wash the garment at 30°, please do not wash at 40°. All garments have been through rigorous testing and quality procedures via samples of each and the washing instructions are an outcome of the results. Incorrect washing can lead to your garment being irretrievably damaged. Please take care with hand washing; if the garment does not indicate that hand washing is appropriate, please do not assume that it would be the best or safest option to do so. It is very difficult to regulate the temperature of water in a bowl. We will not be held responsible for damage to items once they have been washed.

(e) Information about Children’s Jewellery and associated accessories

Jewellery items (including costume jewellery items and hair accessories) are not suitable for use in play. Items of jewellery should only be worn for periods not exceeding 24 hours. Jewellery should not be worn overnight. Earrings, bracelets, pendants, necklaces and accessories with decorations are not suitable for children under the age of three due to small parts. Any such use is subject to full supervision by the guardian adult having full responsibility for the care of the child wearing the jewellery. The Jewellery we stock is not suitable for initial piercing or healing periods.

(f) Information about Complaints

We hope we will never give you cause for complaint but we will endeavour to respond to any complaint within 3 working days and will always keep you fully informed.
Please email any complaint to us by using the website contact form at any time or by telephone between 11:00 am and 4 pm (GMT) We do not show email addresses on this website to prevent the large amounts of junk email received. We do hope this does not inconvenience you too much.

(g) Information about Payment Terms and the Protx Security Statement
We accept all major credit and debit card payments, excluding American Express and Diners, we accept paypal and bank transfers. The site is set up to accept credit or debit cards, whereby your details will be taken at a secure payment page (see below for the Protx Security Statement). We have integrated a secure online card payment facility processed by Protx using the latest encryption systems so that your data and card details are totally protected. Further, we strictly follow the guidelines of our merchant bank on issues of fraud. Checks are ordinarily carried out on your billing name and address, on the 3-digit security code on the back of your card, and on your land telephone line. Please provide a landline telephone number as your contact number. Kindly make sure the name and address you provide are the same as the details held by your card issuing bank, as an error on your part could lead to a purchase refusal, which we cannot rectify. Should we feel that an order is suspicious, in accordance with the guidelines we receive, or where the details provided by you do not match the details held by the card issuing bank, we may undertake further checks. We reserve the right to refuse payment. Alternative payment methods may be offered. Mastercard SecureCode and Verified by Visa checks are undertaken on this website and you will be required to enter your pin to make your purchase if these systems have been implemented for the card you wish to use.

Protx Security Statement
The Protx payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. The internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign; this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Protx to obtain secure information.
Transaction Security – The transfer of the less sensitive transaction details from the retailer’s site to Protx is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.
Security for the Shopper – Any communication between you (the customer) and Protx is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the customer’s browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a ‘card not present’ environment, by their card issuer.
Data Storage – All data stored on Protx systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases. Protx are regularly audited by Visa and Mastercard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards.

Alternative Payment Options
If you do not wish to enter details of your card for payment on the secure page, you can telephone us and we will be happy to process the payment manually.

If your credit or debit card is refused, or if you choose not to pay by debit or credit card, you may pay by paypal or bank transfer. In this respect (bank transfer), email your order, address and contact telephone number to us and arrangements will be made for the bank transfer. In the case of bank transfers, goods will not be despatched until payment has cleared.

Overseas Orders
The fraud checks are strictly followed and we reserve the right to refuse an order if it is deemed suspicious in accordance with the credit check results or general guidelines we receive. Overseas customers are also required to supply a landline telephone number for verification and delivery purposes.

(h) Information about our Gift Wrap Service

We do offer a Gift Wrapping Service for £2.50 each item, which includes gift tissue wrapping in a colour to suit the gift, a coordinating tag and curling ribbon wrap to add that special finishing touch. You should include details of any note you wish us to include on the gift tag, gender of recipient etc, in the notes box at checkout (write 'gift tag to say________') If you choose a card also and want us to write it for you, please include a note in the notes box at checkout (write 'add the following note in the greeting card______ and address the envelope to __________). We will remove all price tags from the items but we will not remove supplied brand tags. Please remember, if you are not in the UK, we unfortunatley cannot deliver your item to an address other than the credit card billing address unless in the UK. We can still gift wrap it for you.

A Final Word - Credit Card Fraud

We work closely with merchant banks, card issuers and police enforcement agencies worldwide and we will take whatever action is necessary, if fraud is committed on our website .
