Children's Designer ClothingChildren's designer clothing
We feel we offer great value, excellent quality, totally fabulous children’s designer clothing and our customers seem to agree, which is marvelous! This is not an easy job; in fact there are so many ranges ‘out there’ and our job is not that easy! To make our selection we do our homework very carefully and make sure we can see and touch the clothes we will be offering, before we make our selections. We’d like to tell you the first instalment about a day in the life of Child Couture. For this year’s offerings of children’s designer clothing we actually viewed a very large selection for the new season at exhibition recently including the following: Minimink of Australia, 1880 Club, A & M Hair Accessories, Aardvard, Aardvark Baby, Abella, Albetta and Alfonso De Nicola, all from the UK. Alpaca Select of Peru, American Exchange from USA, American Retro Museum of New york, Amour de Pomme Framboise of France, Angels with Dirty Faces and Annafie from the UK, Appelito of Australia, Arabella B of London, AraVore Babies, Arctic Fox Dinosaurs, Arctic Fox Marshmallow, Army Kid, Baby Azure of the UK, Baby Banz of Australia, Baby Basics from the UK, Baby Gassy Gooma of the USA, Baby Graziella from Italy, Baby mariner of the UK, Babyface from the Netherlands, Babylegs from USA, Baggers Rainwear from the UK, Bakery Babe and Bakery Baby from the Netherlands, Balloon Bijoux from UK, Balu from South Africa, Bamboo Baby from UK, Bannari from India and Banz Retro from Australia. Some really wonderful Children's clothes in this selection, some clothing and some accessories but it’s important that we look at the ‘big picture’ as you will notice from our website, we do a lot more than just the kids clothes.
We looked at Barbara Farber children’s designer clothing from the Netherlands, Barbie from the UK, Bawi from France, Baypods from UK, Bayside from USA, BE & JOY from France, Be One SA from Greece, Bebe Chocolat and Bebe Cool from France, Bebini from Italy, Bee Bo from the UK, Believe You Can from India, Ben Sherman from UK, Berlingot from France, Bespoke Embroidery from UK, Bical from Brazil, Big Softies from Australia, Blue Bear, Blue Bleu, Blue Skies, Blush, Boardwalker Beachwear, Bob & Blossom, Bob the Builder and Bonnie Baby from the UK.
So by this stage you can imagine we were quite tired and needed to have a sit down and good old English cup of tea! Here our buyers considered the children's designer clothing we had seen, making a note of those we felt were worth of another longer look. Some offerings were absolutely fabulous and we already felt excited about the new season to come. And that’s quite an interesting point in itself. We have to have the benefit of hindsight (but don’t of course, unfortunately!) as we have to make our decisions several months in advance of the season we want the clothes for. Watching the trend forecasts is vitally important for us and a job that is taken very seriously in the industry. So on we go, refreshed but with slightly sore feet!
So we embarked on viewing more children’s designer clothing ranges: Bourgies from Australia, Braintree Baby Basics, Briers, Brights and Stripes from UK, Brinkos from Colombia, British Country Collection from UK, Britt from Australia, Britz from UK, Bunnies by the Bay from USA, Cakewalk from the Netherlands, Cashmere Heavon from UK, Cecile Westh from Denmark, Celebrity Baby and Celebrity Kids from UK, Cenoura from Portugal, Chatterbox from UK, Check In from Germany, Cheeky Chimp from UK, Chicy Devilles and Chillifuego from UK, Clayeux from France, Clever Cloggs from UK, Cloud B from USA, Coco Boca from India, Coco from UK, Cool Island and Corky & Company from USA, Cotton People organic from Germany, Country Kids from UK, Crocs from USA. Cutey Pie, Cyberdog Kids, D’arcy Brown, Daisy Roots, Damask and Dandy Star from UK. Dani Kids from India, Danish Fairytales from Denmark, Derhy Kids from France, Deux par Deux from Candada. Disana from Germany, Disney, Divinus & Dives, Dizzy Daisy from UK, Dolce Goccia from Colombia, Doudou from France, Ducky Beau and Ducky Beau Mini from The Netherlands, DuDu from Spain, Early Arrival and Early Days from UK, Edenstar from Australia, Edizioni Conde Nast Spa from Italy, Edward Sinclair from UK, Ej Sikke Lej from Denmark and Elle est ou la Mer from France.
A tea break is definitely in order and we’re going to consider all the children’s designer clothing we’ve seen and concentrate on designer baby clothes in instalment number two. |
